Editing

I did all the editing on an iphone app called imovie. On the first day of editing I inserted all of our clips and arranged them to be in order. I then cut the clips to be at the right length in order to have clean transitions. For the last few clips my group and I decided that it would be cool to have a flip between the actress with the doll to the actress without the doll. I was a unique way of showing the audience what the rest of the movie might be based on.

For video effects I put a filter over the whole video so it could be more dull and not as colorful since we were shooting in the daylight. At first, I chose a black and white filter but I figured that it needed muted color so that there was dimension to the shots.

For video transitions I used a mix between dissolve, fade, and a normal cut. I used dissolve and fade to help make the transition to the next scene flow more smoothly.

For the audio in the background I used a creepy sound that I found on YouTube. As I was on Youtube I noticed that there were many choices for the background music but after testing each one out I found one that fit really well with our video. Some parts in the music match up with the actions the actress did during the scenes. I turned up the volume on some of the last scenes to create a dramatic entrance into the title screen.
