There are about 4 main titles and several clips in the first few minutes displaying the actors/film crews names.

In the opening scene the house is prioritized but it then switches to the boat that Bill is making

The boat plays an important role a little bit later in the film and is the start to the whole problem which is the reason that they prioritize it in the opening scene.

The background music is lighthearted but since the audience knows it is a horror movie it gives the music a dramatic and eerie vibe. The camera captures each step Bill takes to create this boat for Georgie and it adds an uneasy tension to the audience because since this is a remake of the original movie many people already know that this boat is very symbolic.

The film establishes an enigma from the outset because it is raining outside their house so it makes the mood feel dreary. The lighting is also very dim which puts the audience on edge and makes the house feel unsafe.

The cuts in the editing are fast pace while still allowing the audience to understand what is happening.
7. How has technology been used effectively?
In the very beginning, camera movements are very smooth which shows that they might be using a crane shot. The camera inside the house may be with a steadicam because the shots were defined and smooth.
